ABDUCTION (John Singleton, 2011)

This is a current movie about an important mystery around the life of Nathan (Taylor Lautner), the protagonist. He is a young actor, he is just 19, and he is well known because of his role in the Twilight saga. I like watching films where actors related to other popular movies act, because it allows people to know them more and in more facets. This is fantastic. Taylor Lautner is not only the wolf of Twilight.
On the other hand, I find the movie fine, although I don't think dialogues are really good; but the story and the way of presenting it is nice.

There is a good use of lights and shadows also with importance in the camera movements and of course, in distances (in order to show the faces and the expressions). As well, and even more important, the offscreen elements are present all the time. The spectator doesn't know what's going on so it carries on almost in the same speed as the protagonists. This involves an identification of spectators with them.

Here I leave for your the trailer of the movie.
I think you can like it, although sometimes it is quite, not boring, but slow due to, as I have already said, the simplicity of the dialogues.
