This is a very sad and shocking movie told by a child in order to show how his father was. In my opinion, it is a quite complicated film which make the spectator to pay attention to it all the time.
The use of mise-en-scène is magnificient, especially regarding the presence of shadows and darkness. Editing is also important, since the time when the actions happen is not chronological at all.
